Home Branch Security - Enhanced.

Multi-Factor Authentication helps to protect against online fraud by providing an additional authentication "factor" beyond your account number and password. This feature strengthens the security of your login while providing peace of mind to you.

Below is a list of what will be asked upon your initial set-up with Multi-Factor Authentication.

The first time you login to Home Branch, you will be asked to:

  • Select a "Secondary Password" that you will need when logging on to Home Branch from a non-authenticated computer.
  • Select a secondary "Password Reminder" to help you remember your secondary password in the event that you forget it.
  • Select a personalized "Verification Phrase" that you will see when you reach the password screen to ensure that you've entered the "true" Home Branch login webpage. If you do not see the phrase it could indicate that you are logging into a malicious site.
  • Enter your "Email Address" to be used in the event that you login from a non-authenticated computer and can not remember your secondary password, you can request that a temporary access key (a one time only password that is valid for one hour) be sent to your email. In addition, this is the address that will be used if you would like to receive an email each time there is a login to your account.
  • Optional: Enter your "Cell Phone or Pager Number" to be used in the event that you login from a non-authenticated computer and can not remember your secondary password, you can request that a temporary access key (a one time only password that is valid for one hour) be sent via text message to your phone or pager. In addition, this is the number that will be used if you would like to receive a text message each time there is a login to your account.
  • Optional: Choose if you want to be notified via Email whenever a login occurs.

For future logins with this enhanced security feature:
