Watermark Credit Union Announces Strong Results At Annual Meeting

It was standing room only at the annual meeting of Watermark Credit Union on March 17. Outgoing Chairman Bob Valentine presented the credit union's annual report for 2003 to the membership present. He reported that deposits grew by 3.9%, membership grew by 7.4%, assets grew by 8.6% and loans grew by 28.4%. Overall, it was a very strong performance during difficult economic times
President/CEO Chuck Cockburn thanked the Board of Directors and the employees of the credit union for the many tasks they had accomplished in 2003, which included adopting a new name and brand identity, as well as relocating 60% of the credit union's branches.
Today Watermark Credit Union serves approximately 70,000 members and has assets of $400 million. Anyone who lives or works in Washington State is eligible to become a member of Watermark Credit Union, which has offices in downtown Seattle, Redmond, Southcenter, Lynnwood and Bellevue.
