Shoreline, Washington...................................June 6, 2006
Watermark Credit Union started work on its new branch at 16330 Aurora Avenue in Shoreline, Washington, on Tuesday, June 6, 2006.
Shoreline's Mayor, Robert Ransom, joined with directors and staff from Watermark Credit Union in breaking ground there. The new branch will be Watermark's seventh and is scheduled to open in the winter of 2006. The general contractor for this project is SGA Corporation of Shoreline.
Watermark's President/CEO, Chuck Cockburn, describes the new branch as being "carefully designed to meet the needs of the people of Shoreline. The 6,000 square-feet branch will have 27 parking stalls, drive-up service and 24-hour, surcharge-free ATMs."
This is the second new branch Watermark Credit Union has begun building in 2006. A branch currently under construction in Burien is scheduled to open in September.
Anyone who lives or works in Washington State can become a member of Watermark Credit Union. It has assets of over $450,000,000 and branch offices in Southcenter, Lynnwood, Redmond, Bellevue and Seattle.
