Watermark Credit Union Wins Branding Award At Washington Credit Union League Convention

Watermark Credit Union won several awards at the Washington Credit Union League convention that took place From September 12-15 in Tacoma, WA. The credit union's 2005 calendar was the winning entry in the branding category for credit unions with assets of more than $400,000,000.

Each year, Watermark Designer Jennifer Haun designs a calendar using photographs submitted by members of the credit union. She designed the 2005 calendar using photographs with an urban theme. The calendar is distributed free to members at the credit union's branches.

"Members really enjoy our calendars," said Marketing Director Jerry Sparrow. "Jennifer does a great job of choosing the winning entries from among the many photographs submitted."

Watermark also won awards for its annual report and its marketing of Certificates of Deposit. In addition, the credit union's Webmaster, Lynette Hughes, won an award for Watermark's website, which can be found at www.watermarkcu.org.
