Watermark Credit Union Opens A Branch In Burien

Watermark Credit Union is opened the doors to a new branch office at 14647 Ambaum Boulevard SW in Burien, Washington on Tuesday, September 12, 2006.
A ribbon-cutting ceremony took place on Wednesday, September 20, 2006. Several local civic leaders where invited to attend along with members of the community. Burien's Mayor, Joan McGilton was in attendance along with Watermark's CEO, Chuck Cockburn; Executive Vice President, Sharon Sanford; and Chairman of the Board, Roy McIntosh.
The Grand Opening of the new branch will be held on Saturday, September 30, 2006. The Grand Opening festivities include a Family Fun Day with free food, games, and giveaways.
The new branch is designed to meet the financial needs of those who live, work, and shop in the Southwest King County area. The branch is a state-of-the-art, bilingual facility with three-lanes of drive-thru access, 28 parking stalls, 24-hour ATM machine, and safe deposit boxes on site.
Watermark's President/CEO, Chuck Cockburn, describes the new branch as "providing additional convenience for our busy members who live, work, and shop in the Burien area. We are delighted to provide another full-service branch to our members."
This is the first of two new branches that Watermark is constructing this year. A branch in Shoreline, Washington is currently scheduled to open in January 2007.
Anyone who lives or works in Washington State can become a member of Watermark Credit Union. It has assets of over $450,000,000 and branch offices in Southcenter, Lynnwood, Redmond, Bellevue, Seattle, and now Burien.
