Watermark Credit Union Scholarship applications are accepted each year April 15 through June 30.
- You must be a member of the credit union, a high school senior, and pursuing some level of higher education. (Eligible* members must join the credit union prior to submitting essay and application.)
- Essays should be no more than 1,000 words.
- Complete the application

Watermark Credit Union is pleased to announce it will award a $2,000 Ted Baer Memorial** Scholarship, a $1,500 Michael Reese Memorial*** Scholarship, and a $1,000 scholarship to graduating high school seniors who are members of the credit union.
If you or someone you know could use some extra money for college, our Scholarship Program is perfect opportunity to earn some cash! Participants will compete for cash scholarships by entering an essay contest as well as completing an application.
In order to participate in this year's Scholarship Program, write an essay on the following question:
Essay Question: Describe the educational experience that has been most meaningful to you up to this point. Also, tell us what you hope to achieve through your college education.

*Contest open to Watermark Credit Union members except employees and officials of the credit union or their family members.
**Ted Baer (1906-2003) was the founding Treasurer of Seattle Telco Federal Credit Union, which became Watermark Credit Union in 2003.
***Michael Reese (1942-2002) was the founding Treasurer of King County Medical Society Federal Credit Union, which merged with Watermark Credit Union in 2004.
