Each year Watermark Credit Union awards three scholarships to graduating high school students. Participants compete for cash scholarships by entering an essay contest as well as completing an application that includes academic achievement and service to the community.

Watch For Our 2009 Scholarship Contest
Watermark Credit Union will award a $2,000 Ted Baer Memorial* Scholarship, a $1,500 Michael Reese Memorial** Scholarship, and a $1,000 scholarship to graduating high school seniors who are members of the credit union, in 2008. The essay question and application will be available online during the month of April.


Next deadline June 30, 2009

*Ted Baer (1906-2003) was the founding Treasurer of Seattle Telco Federal Credit Union, which became Watermark Credit Union in 2003.
**Michael Reese (1942-2002) was the founding Treasurer of King County Medical Society Federal Credit, which merged with Watermark Credit Union in 2004.
